We have a complex legal practice, regional and national in scope, and we involve associates early in their careers with client contact, court appearances and participation in challenging legal work.
We provide our attorneys with both formal and informal mentoring programs. The firm hosts an annual seminar on mentoring – what it is, why it’s important, how it works – followed by a social gathering to help build those one-on-one relationships. On the informal side, attorneys also can consult a list of volunteer mentors, tapping into expertise across the firm. As you can see, we take mentoring seriously.
We'll also give you opportunities for continuing legal education in both substantive and practical aspects of the practice of law and pays for associates to attend approved seminars to fulfill CLE requirements.
Each year we'll help you determine how your career is developing. You will receive a formal evaluation providing you with specific feedback about your progress within the firm. In addition to this formal evaluation, we encourage our partners to mentor associates on projects throughout the year as part of an overall training and educational process.
